I had wrote an article on the bus home today, but then I remembered that today is the 60th anniversary of VE Day. So I am going to tell you all why today should mean something to all of you. What does VE stand for? Victory in Europe, the day when Nazi Germany finally surrendered. The day that all those who lost their lives had fought so had to achieve, and those that were willing to die for were fortunate enough to see.
Canadians played a huge part in that war, and the liberation of Holland,
so just remember this, The next time that you think some thing is unfair, thank those people that gave you the freedom to have that choice.
