DELINGPOLE: Global Warming Study Cancelled Because of ‘Unprecedented’ Ice
The study, entitled BaySys, is a $17-million four-year-long program headed by the University of Manitoba. It was planning to conduct the third leg of its research by sending 40 scientists from five Canadian universities out into the Bay on the Canadian Research Icebreaker CCGS Amundsen to study “contributions of climate change and regulation on the Hudson Bay system.â€
But it had to be cancelled because the scientists’ icebreaker was required by the Canadian Coast Guard for a rather more urgent purpose – rescuing fishing boats and supply ships which had got stuck in the “unprecedented ice conditionsâ€. Read Original Article Here breitbart.com

The University of Manitoba’s multi-year, multi-million dollar climate change study has been put on ice for a year — because of climate change itself.
David Barber, the university’s renowned Arctic researcher, and chief scientist of the BaySys project, said 40 scientists on the Canadian icebreaker CCGS Amundsen made the decision to postpone the $17 million project until next year after two weeks onboard because they realized the ship was needed elsewhere due to the continued extreme ice conditions in southern waters around Newfoundland and Labrador. Not your spirit animal: Cultural appropriation, misinformation, and the Internet
Like most things on the internet, however, this is not only wrong but extremely offensive. The culturally-appropriative way that the term “spirit animal†is used in everyday speech is extremely harmful and so casual that most people don’t even think twice about it.
The reason why the term spirit animal has risen to popularity on the Internet is because it’s so easily understood. What people are saying is that they like this thing a lot and that makes them happy. It’s that simple. Using “spirit animal†is a short hand that shows how into something they are. Jordan Peterson offers incredibly important advice on the appropriate way to respond to tense situations with disruptive protestors – advice that was quite literally lost in the noise of the nonstop protest that shut down an event focused (ironically) on the subject of political correctness & free speech.
Ten Things Every White Yoga Teacher Must Know
4 Thoughts for Your Yoga Teacher Who Thinks Appropriation Is Fun
Editor’s Note: The following piece includes the word “dumb†in it. Everyday Feminism recognizes dumb to be an ableist term. While we support the overall message of this poem, we do not support or stand by the painful legacy and connotation of that word.
Being the only Indian person in a yoga class can certainly come with its challenges. Especially when the teacher commits unfortunate examples of cultural appropriation, like one teacher does in this video.
Here’s a hilarious response to the dehumanizing exotification that yoga teachers can be guilty of when they try to claim a culture that’s not theirs to claim.
